Student Technology Assistance Representatives

The Student Technology Assistance Representatives (STARS) program brings students and faculty together in a joint effort to explore the use of technology in teaching and learning. As a STAR you will be trained to work with faculty members to develop and contribute to the critical mass of technological understanding on campus.

Students of any major will be competitively selected based on their academic performance, interpersonal skills and technical skills. If chosen to be a STAR, you will be hired for up to 16 hours per week to work with faculty. Throughout your tenure here, you will receive extensive training in the software and hardware tools used at the university.
